John Bizas, sculptor, Greece
Marble is the passion of John Bizas. When he is 28 years old, he decides to move to Italy: in Pietrasanta he finds marble coming from all over the world, all the materials, all the equipment including tools, built for him to his specifications.
In the conception of his sculptures, he uses the empty space as material, allowing the viewer ' to penetrate' the sculptures. This technique results in very thin, light and delicate creations.
John Bizas is born in the island of Chios (Greece). He lives and works in Italy.
